United States WW2 Cattaraugus 225Q “Quartermaster Knife” Fighting Knife. Stacked leather handle with leather sheath. 6-inch blade in worn condition with some graying, however, overall, nice condition for age. Leather sheath also with a lot of wear and a bit stiff, however, decent for age. Marked on blade the ricasso Cattaraugus 225Q. The model 225Q was designed for use by the U.S. Quartermaster Corps and was also to have been rumored to have been preferred by the U.S. special forces as well. Knife has a very stout blade and with a checkered steel pommel. Worn condition.
