United States Signal Corps Lineman Tool Set in CS-34 Leather Pouch. TL-29 Electrician’s Pocket Knife marked by Colonial Prov USA, this example is not marked TL-29 and has the black sawcut handle. These knives are often just considered Signal Corps Knives. Also, has TL-13A pliers (also pliers not marked TL-13A, however, I believe these are proper period pliers for this set), just not the more desirable marked one. 1940s (ww2) era. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: The WW2 U.S. Signal Corps Lineman’s Tool Set typically consisted of a CS-34 leather pouch, a TL-29 electrician’s knife, and TL-13A pliers. These were essential for field communications work, used to strip, cut, and repair wire lines during combat operations.
