Czech VZ-22 Bayonet . BAYO672

Czech VZ-22 Bayonet. Marked CSZ on one side of blade ricasso and unmarked on other side of blade ricasso. Pommel area is numbered 6818. Not marked on scabbard lug. Blade length approximately 9 5/8 inches. Most likely 1920s-1930s era. Very heavily worn condition.

Additional Notes: Many books refer to this bayonet as VZ–23 or VZ–23 Short. However, the Czechoslovak designation for this bayonet was VZ–22.
