Czech VZ-24 Bayonet. Numbered on top of pommel area. Marked CSZ above an H on one side of blade ricasso and no marks on other side of blade ricasso. Marked on scabbard lug: CSZ. Bayonet does not fit all the way in scabbard, sticks out about 1/4 inch. Blade length approximately 11 3/4 inches. Most likely 1940s era. Very heavily worn condition.
Additional Notes: The Czech VZ-24 Bayonet was designed for the CZ vz. 24 rifle, which was widely used by the Czechoslovakian military before and during WW2. The bayonet features a 11 3/4 inch blade and is often marked with ordnance codes such as CSZ F or E3 (Czech proof).
