WW1 German bayonet that appears to be a shorten Turkish conversion with Turkish type scabbard. No marker marks that I can find. Blade length approximately 9 inches. Very worn converted condition.
Additional Notes: A Turkish conversion bayonet refers to a foreign or domestic bayonet that Turkey modified, often shortened, re-hilted, or reconfigured, to fit rifles like the Mauser or later the U.S. M1 Garand. These conversions typically can have a Turkish crescent moon or ASFA (Ankara Military Factory) markings and/or shortened blades.
