Additional Notes: The WW2 United States Army Tennessee War Maneuvers were a series of large-scale training exercises held between 1942 and 1944 in Middle Tennessee, known collectively as the Tennessee Maneuver Area. These maneuvers were critical in preparing U.S. forces for combat in Europe, simulating battlefield conditions across 21 counties whose terrain resembled that of France, Belgium, and Germany.
