French WW1 Croix de Guerre Medal with Star Device on ribbon. Green ribbon with thin red stripes is very heavily worn condition with a lot of staining and corrosion. Reverse of medal has dates 1914-1918.

Additional Notes: The French Croix de Guerre 1914–1918 (War Cross) is a French military decoration, the first version of the Croix de Guerre. It was created to recognize French and allied soldiers who were cited for valorous service during WW1.
