U.S. Army Commendation Medal (Military Merit) Cased. Also, has “V” device on ribbon and extra ribbon bar with “V” device and extra small lapel device. The “V” Device is for valorous actions in direct contact with an enemy. 1960s-70s era medal. Named on back. A lot of wear to case. Crimped broach.

Additional Notes: The Army Commendation Medal is awarded to any member of the Armed Forces of the U.S. other than General Officers who, while serving in any capacity with the U.S. Army after December of 1941, distinguished themselves by heroism, meritorious achievement or meritorious service.
