Soviet Capture of Berlin Medal with Award Booklet. The medal is suspended from a standard Soviet pentagonal mount covered by ribbon. The aluminum suspension is post war as is its ribbon. I believe the medal is a variation 1 with the solder ring. The award booklet is very worn condition with some staining.
Additional Notes: The Soviet Medal for the Capture of Berlin was awarded to soldiers of the Red Army, Navy, and troops of the NKVD, direct participants of the assault and capture of Berlin as well as to the organizers and leaders of combat operations in the capture of this city.
