US WW2 Army Service Uniform – Far East Forces – 39R . UA845


U.S. WW2 Army Service Uniform. Army Air Forces (AAF) Far East Forces shoulder sleeve insignia on one sleeve and Western Pacific Command patch on other sleeve. Has honorable discharge “Ruptured Duck” cloth insignia above one front pocket. Also, has four overseas stripes near end of one sleeve. Each stripe represents 6 months service in a combat zone. This group of four stripes would represent 2 years service in a combat zone. Also, has one service stripe at end of sleeve, each service stripe represents 3 years service and is for enlisted men only.Size marked 39R. Has small moth nip.
