United States Army BDU Woodland Camouflage Combat Jacket. “U.S. Army” cloth strip above one pocket and name strip above other front pocket. Also, has cloth Colonel rank insignia and Engineer officer cloth insignia on collar area. Contract tag in jacket is marked: Coat, Woodland, Camouflage Pattern, Combat, and contract dated 95. Size tag in jacket marked: Medium-Short. Worn condition.

 

Additional Notes: The Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) are camouflaged fatigues (also known as Woodland Camo) that were used by the United States Armed Forces as their standard combat uniform from the early 1980s to the mid-2000s. The BDU was the first camouflage uniform approved by the U.S. Army since the Vietnam War, where the ERDL pattern was in limited use.
