Additional Notes: The WW2 German M36 service tunic, or Feldbluse, was the standard early-war uniform for Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS troops, known for its quality construction and distinctive bottle-green collar. Introduced in 1936, the M36 was the first standardized field tunic of the Third Reich era and remained in use throughout the war, especially early on. The tunic was made from high-quality wool, often a wool-nylon blend. It was a Feldgrau (field-gray) color with a contrasting bottle-green collar, a hallmark of the M36 model. It had four pleated front pockets with scalloped flaps, two on the chest area and two at the waist.
