Japanese Wakizashi Iron Tsuba (hand guard). Unsigned tsuba. Tsuba with single center hole (hole for storing or histsu-ana) the main center hole (nakago-ana) for the blade. Simple cut out design. Tsuba size approximately 2 5/8 X 2 7/16. Believe this is Edo period (1603-1867)
