WW2 Japanese Aircraft Compass . NNJ145

WW2 Japanese aircraft compass. Not sure if this one is from a fighter, dive bomber, or bomber. However, a cool compass and still has the fluid inside as well.

The Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) was the navy of the Empire of Japan from 1868 until 1945 when it was dissolved following Japan’s surrender in WW2. The IJN was the 3rd largest navy in the world by 1920, behind the Royal Navy and the United States Navy. It was supported by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service for aircraft and airstrike operation from the fleet. It was the primary opponent of the Western Allies in the Pacific War.
