WW2 Japanese Red Cross Membership Medal. Silver version. Typically, red cross membership medals made prior to 1941 were usually made of silver.

Additional Notes: The Japanese Red Cross medal was conferred to those who have rendered distinguished services in aiding the work of, or contributed funds to the Society. Pending the amount of the contribution, there are various membership medals. The membership was open to foreigners. Medals awarded to men have a ribbon, and those awarded to women were worn in a bow.
