United States Army Field Cap. Hot Weather OG-507 Cap. 2nd Pattern Ball Cap. Four vent holes, however, no brown vinyl sweatband in this one, maybe early version of OG-507. Contract tag on interior size marked 6 5/8. Most likely 1970s version. Worn condition.
Additional Notes: The US Military OG-507 caps were introduced after the Vietnam War. The OG-507 caps also typically only have four vent holes while the earlier OG-106 caps had 6 vent holes. The OG-507 caps most of the time featured a brown vinyl sweatband, and the front stiffener only goes halfway up the interior of the cap. The OG-507 caps appear identical in color to the earlier OG-106 caps.
