U.S. Navy Officer’s Visor Cap. Nice metal Navy Officer Visor cap insignia on front. Black visor brim has age wear and crazing. Navy Blue (General Use) cover. Marker marked in top inner crown of cap: Scott Company Limited Boston and named to Paul E. Murphy. Most likely 1940s (ww2) era visor cap. Worn and used condition.


Additional Notes: The Navy Officer’s visor cap was designed that could utilize various removable covers to match the uniform. The standard colors were White (winter use), Khaki (summer use), Navy Blue (general use), Dark Green (Naval Aviation), and Gray.
