US WW2 M1 Combat Helmet w/liner – Fixed Bale . HU1006

U.S. WW2 Army M1 Combat Helmet. Fixed bale with front seam. Helmet khaki chinstraps with the stamped brass buckle and j-hooks. Several small hits/dents on top, also, appears to have a tape strip removed from front (which you seem sometimes on WW2 M1 helmets). Stitched helmet straps in heavily worn condition. Liner with good condition webbing, leather adjustment band, and neck strap. Liner chinstrap broken in half (however, parts of liner chinstrap still there). Liner marked with International Molded Plastics (IMP) logo. IMP high-pressure liner with the lack of paint which is typical for this period of liner. Most likely a mid-1942 helmet. Overall a good example of an earlier fixed bale helmet.
