WW2 German Narvik Campaign Shield (Narvikschild). No cloth backing, only metal shield with all 4 prongs still present. On the front of the shield has the wording “Narvik” and the date 1940.

Additional Notes: The Narvik Shield (Narvikschild) was a WW2 German military decoration awarded to all German forces that took part in the battles of Narvik between April and June 1940. It was instituted in August 1940. The Narvik shield was bestowed by General Eduard Dietl, the commander of Army Group Narvik.
