US WW1 Army Cartridge belt . FLU1974

U.S. WW1 Army 10 Pocket Cartridge belt. Patented Mills marked. Worn and used condition. A classic piece of soldier field gear.

Additional Notes:
Charger retaining straps were used on pockets of pre-1917 production and deleted in 1917. However, they were re-introduced on the M1923 belts and again were deleted by the end of WW2. The strap was utilized to prevent the loss of the front charger when the rear one was being removed for use.
