U.S. WW2 Cattaraugus 225Q Commando Fighting Knife. Stacked leather handle with leather scabbard. 6 inch blade in worn and used condition. Manufactured by Cattaraugus. The model 225Q was designed for use by the U.S. special forces. Knife has a very stout blade and with a checkered steel pommel. The leather sheath also has very interest theater period artwork that adds a lot of nice character to this knife. However, the snap portion to the cross strap is missing. These ww2 knives with theater period art work to the leather scabbards are really sought after and add some interesting history and individuality to each particular knife.
