U.S. Army M7 Bayonet. Bayonet marker marked U.S. M7 BOC under cross guard. Blade has what looks like MIT 11 etched into blade. Scabbard is marked U.S. M8A1 TWB. Approximately 6 3/4 inch blade. Most likely a Vietnam era knife. Overall, heavily worn and used condition.
Additional Notes: The M7 bayonet was used by the U.S. Military for the M16 rifle. The M7 bayonet can also be used with the M4 carbine as well as many other assault rifles, carbines and combat shotguns. The M7 bayonet can also be used as a fighting knife and/or utility tool.
