WW2 German SS dagger by Hammesfahr w/Service # . D2030

WW2 German SS Service Dagger maker marked on blade with logo for Gottlieb Hammesfahr Solingen. Early period 1933-1935 dagger with variation 2 motto on blade. Dagger has service number on back of cross guard with number 141275. Also, marked on cross guard II. Ebony wood grip in good basic condition with some hits to surface and small edge chipping as typical, also, has the proper Hammesfahr eagle insert and Hammesfahr SS runes button insert. Scabbard in very worn condition and overly cleaned or touched up a bit with indentation on one side (however, does not affect dagger going into scabbard properly), very rough condition scabbard. All four scabbard screws present. Scabbard tip ball in good condition. Some wear to fittings. Blade in good overall condition, can still see some of the cross-graining, has in-and-out marks and a lot of cleaning scratching on edges, however, still displays decently. Blade is acid etched wih “Meine Ehere Heisst Treue” motto. Overall a good example of an SS Dagger with service number.
