Civil War Union Bullseye Canteen . CWR372

Civil War Union Bullseye Canteen, picked up at a battle site near Fairfax VA.  This canteen has some holes from many years of corrosion, however, still firm. This canteen is the classic style known to collectors as the “Bullseye” pattern with the reinforcement rings on the sides. The canteen has an attractive look and all three of the original strap loops are still present. Also, there appears to be a marker mark on canteen throat, however, hard to make out.
