US Civil War Id’d tintype of solider w/case . CWP30

U.S. Civil War Id’d tintype of solider in case w/paperwork. Research shows soldier pictured is George Mansise who enlisted on 8/12/1862 as a Private and was mustered into “F” Co MA 38th Infantry. He was mustered out on 6/30/1865 at Savannah, GA. Case has been repaired and has electric tab on back hinge. Also, it appears the Tintype was put in case under the glass insert. Does not look like it fits very well and could use a better case to hold the CDV, however, leaving as is as that is how this one came in. A very nice portrait of soldier with uniform, musket, and belt rig and nice to have paperwork and research as well.
