Additional Notes: The Manhattan Navy Revolver Series II is a piece of history from the Civil War era. Manufactured by the Manhattan Firearms Company between January of 1860 and September of 1861 in Newark, New Jersey. Capacity: 5-shot cylinder. Barrel Lengths: 4 inch, 5 inch, and 6 1/2 inch. Serial Numbers: Approximately 4,200 to 14,500. Despite not receiving official U.S. military contracts, many of these revolvers were privately purchased by officers and soldiers and saw action on Civil War battlefields
