British Officer’s Dress Sabretache for the Royal Artillery with case. Dating in the 1837-1872 range, nice condition Royal Artillery dress sabretache with metal case to a Captain in the Royal Artillery. Case is heavily worn, missing hanging slings, however, has metal case which is typically missing. Overall a very nice piece.
Additional Notes: A Sabretache is a flat satchel on long straps worn by some cavalry and horse artillery officers from the left of the waist-belt along with a sabre.
